Winter in Grey

Rare picture of me smiling

Of course, following my announcement that there wasn't gonna be one, there had to be another post in these final days of 2016. T_T
Here's to my latest look post:

Beret : & Other Stories | Top : H&M | Jeans : H&M  | Shoes : Vagabond | Coat : H&M Collection
What do you think of the vintage filters I've used on the two photos above?

I hope you've, despite the lack of words, enjoyed this post.

Coordinates: Strawberry Lipsticks featuring Sammydress

Top : Sammydress | Tulle dress : Zara | Hotpants : H&M | Flats : Salvatore Ferragamo | Clutch bag : Sammydress
I'm so happy to finally post my most recent coordinate because it's been a while & I really like this coordinate. It also features my two favourite Sammydress products.
If you've been following my blog for a little longer you might know I'm really into unique looking accessories, especially bags - so I got very excited when I discovered this cute clutch bag in lipstick design on the Sammydress website - I just had to get it! And I SOOOO don't regret it because it is even prettier in real life! In fact, this is probably my favourite clutch bag now and it is certainly an eye-catcher as well :) The only con is that it's a little heavy but that doesn't bother me too much, it's just so cute. Another item in this coordinate I wanna mention are the ballet flats from Salvatore Ferragamo, probably my favourite flats so far - they are very subtle & classy in terms of design so you can easily wear them with a lot of different outfits, they are also really really comfy!
And lastly the top with the special cut is another Sammydress item I really grew to love, mainly because of the interesting irregular & oversized design and since it's black, it's also very easy to match it with many different looks, I love it!

Sometimes I check the Sammydress website and honestly don't find a lot of pretty things but this time I was really lucky, in fact there were so many cute items, so especially if you're still looking for a unique or cute bag, make sure you check out their online shop!

Also, if you have one, where did you find your favourite clutch bag?

Coordinate : All White

Choker : Lamoda | Dress : Dezzal | Bracelet : Swarovski | Sandals : Lamoda
This coordinate features a beautiful wrap-style dress from Dezzal, remember when I reviewed their website a few weeks ago? Well, they actually sent me this beautiful dress for review! I paired it with my Lamoda choker, my beloved Swarovski bracelet & platform sandals also from Lamoda for this look. I'm really glad the pictures came out so well, despite the dress being a little tight on me, so if you're planning to order from them I recommend sizing up, though this might highly vary from brand to brand that they offer on their website. I really like the design with the overlay & wrap details but I would have preferred the material to be a little..thicker and stretchier, just because comfort :P But then I should probably just lose some weight ^^;
In case you're having trouble identifying those hieroglyphs aka my handwriting, this was supposed to say "Stubborn with a good heart"

Anyways, I'm happy to say I'm overall very pleased with the service and my shopping experience with Dezzal. A big bonus was also the speedy shipping as my package literally arrived with me within about a week!
Would I order from them again? Absolutely, but I'd pay more attention to the sizing and materials used next time as I tend to value this a lot, especially when the clothing is generally a little pricier. :)

Have you ordered from Dezzal before?
Share your experience in the comments below :)

Coordinate : Run Boy Run + Pokémon Go release!

Hoodie : Pull & Bear | Skirt : Zara | Phone Case : Snupped | Choker : Lamoda
It started with a Jacket from Antonio Berardi, my love for neoprene outerwear, and is now being continued with this lovely oversized hoodie from Pull & Bear! There's just something about neoprene that makes it so perfect for almost any temperature within the mild climate range. I bought this hoodie while I was on my transit in Shanghai this winter, traveling back home from summerly Australia and hence, big surprise, absolutely underdressed and it literally saved my life - which is me totally exaggerating the possibility of a flu.
Anyways, it kept me warm then & now in the warmer climate, keeps me cool. I can't quite explain the science behind this, but lastly divers use it for this reason, too.
Please excuse my grumpy facial expressions in those shots btw!

And now onto something that seriously had me excited this week..

The Pokémon Go release

Omg guys, the time has finally come! Since July 7th, Pokémon Go is available on the app stores in the US, Australia & New Zealand and a release for Europe is apparently planned by the end of this week! As a person who grew up with the Pokémon games for Gameboy, Gamecube & Nintendo DS, you can go figure how excited I am about this game!

For those of you who haven't heard of Pokémon Go so far, here's a little trailer of what it's all about:

For more info you can also view their website here.

So seriously, how could anyone who played Pokemon growing up not be excited about this?! This game is so big, in fact, it's almost like my childhood dreams come true and the best thing about it? It's free to download!
Since the European version of it isn't officially available on the app stores yet, but the makers are rumoured to having announced that it would be released by the end of this week, you can be assured that I'll be checking the iPhone app store 5x or even more every day from now on until it's finally on there, haha - not talking about obsessions..

Will you be / are you playing Pokémon Go?
What do you think of it?

Coordinate : Breathing Navy

Shirt/Dress : H&M | Jeans : Zara | Sneakers : Stan Smith Adidas | Backpack : Lamoda

This recent look is pretty simple & absolutely street-friendly, in fact, I actually wear this coordinate out a lot. It's casual, yet stylish & I just love how the white details on the H&M pyjama style shirt/dress go with the white jeans and shoes. I just love the silky, comfortable material and the relaxed PJ style of this H&M top - it's actually one of my favourites now! :)
I'm very much into casual looks and sneakers recently, maybe I'm just tired of the "beauty knows no pain" kind of fashion trends. Plus I'm really busy with preparations for University & summer in general at the moment so there's not really too much time to invest into styling flamboyant outfits. And lastly, I'm also quite content with the way things are at the moment and I think that's the main thing.

What do you think of the PJ-look 2016?

Coordinate : Love Red

It's been a while since my last coordinate-post and I'm really sorry to keep you waiting and I have to admit, alhough I really don't have too much time these days I've also been sort of lazy to do it. But I really hate having new looks on my look book and no articles to go with them on my blog so now I've finally pulled myself together and decided to write one again! Here it is:

Jumper : H&M | Pants : H&M | Watch : DW | Bag : Zac Posen | Shoes : Zara

I think I can say I've become pretty skilled at combining cheap clothes with rather pricey accessories and luckily I have because in this case it really saved the outfit! I love love love this Zac Posen bag, and especially because of the pretty colour. I had ordered this one online so when it arrived I was kinda nervous if the colour really looked like in the photos but when I unwrapped it, it was love at first sight!
The leather wristband I bought for my Daniel Wellington was another thing I didn't regret. I like it so much better than the textile one & it's easier to match to outfits, too.
Another thing about this look that surprised me positively were the Oxford shoes I bought from Zara because the leather of my old ones from Schuh, which I loved and wore way too much, had become too wrinkly and worn out ~ I must say I didn't really expect much when I bought those Zara shoes, my first pair of shoes from Zara, because Zara isn't really known for the great quality of the shoes they make but this pair is actually surprisingly comfortable! :)

Melbourne has been pretty boring for me recently since, after my friends moved to a farm on the countryside, I spend most days in coffee shops or just walking around the city or hanging out with my housemates.
My birthday, yes, it's on Valentine's Day, is in 2 days and I have no plans for it either. I also can't believe that I'm turning 20! 20.. That's two decades of being alive already! And although I know that's not old it feels terribly ancient to me.. I wish I could just celebrate my 19th birthday again and pretend I was born in 97 to be honest. But yeah, 20 it is... Let's see if there will actually be something happening on that day. :)

What are your plans for Valentine's Day?

Coordinate : "Do Not Pass."

Dress : Zara | Bag : Lloyd Baker London | Ballerinas : Gabor
Here's my latest coordinate, and you guys, can't imagine how glad I am that I finally found the motivation and time to write this post. It's probably my last coordinate post before I'm heading for Australia and I can't even tell you how excited I am. I'm SOO looking forward this adventure and I think you can look forward to some nice shots of the Australian Summer that I'll hopefully get to capture, too!

But back to the coordinate.. once again, this dress was a piece that I wasn't all too sure about at first but because it was fairly inexpensive I gladly decided to buy it! No regrets, no regrets AT ALL! <3
The leather satchel by Lloyd Baker London is by far my favourite piece about this look though! It is really SO convenient and, although, it's quite small, the amount of things you can fit into it is just amazing! It also goes with most outfits actually as it's very subtle in terms of colour & design.
Who would have thought that one could love a convenient, compact little bag like this so much?! The perfect bag for my little adventures!<3

I might actually post this on lookbook, too (although posting several looks of the same outfit is usually not my thing all), someday because I REALLY couldn't decide which of the two collage to post when I uploaded the look yesterday. I like 'em both :P

What is your favourite bag to go on trips?

Coordinate : Teddy Coat Reversed

Coat: H&M | Dress: Topshop | Watch: Michael Kors | Bag: Tory Burch | Loafers: Puccetti
I seriously fell in love with this coat! When I first saw it in store I was really hesitant about buying it, it seemed like one of those pieces you buy because they look cool at that moment but are probably never gonna wear again (You'd be surprised about the number of clothes in my wardrobe that are just like that!). Luckily, this coat didn't turn out to be one of them, it turned out just the right piece for me for the cooler temperatures. And the coolest thing about it is, it's reversible!
One side is kind of fluffy like a camel sheep fur while the other resembles soft leather - it's definitely the best faux piece I've got myself so far and I do not regret buying it at all <3

Do you have any pieces you were hesitant about buying but ended up totally loving?

Coordinate: Get Your Geek On

Glasses : Claire's | Sweater : H&M | Pants : Zara | Sandals : Lamoda
Let's talk frankly today, fashion can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. The super tight dresses that you can hardly even breathe in and the Jeffrey Campbell Heels that, if you fall, you'll probably break your neck thanks to them. But who said fashion has to be only that?
It doesn't always have to be high and tight. I for myself decided that it can actually be so comfortable and casual, too, especially now as we're gradually moving closer to winter, this is honestly more of an indoors look but I did wear it out already, too. If the weather is too cold to wear Sandals, I just like to swap them with my trusty Nike Air sneakers. It's so simple, minimal and oh, the Mohair material of this H&M sweater is just sooo comfortable!
I loved the Glasses in addition to give me an overall geekier look - it's kinda of funny to play around with rather unusual accessories like that sometimes.

This sweater had indeed made it to my top 3 favorite Sweaters the moment I had it!
It's a little baggy but as I'm a devoted fan of the oversized look anyways, I just had to fall in love with it. In fact, 2 of my 3 favorite sweaters are oversized & very casual, so I would say that this is probably my favorite style for sweaters, especially those thicker knits! :)

What is your favorite style for sweaters?

Coordinate: Lavender & Night Out In Lace

Those two looks were basically my haul from YOINS - A super cool & cheap (!) online shop. I have to admit, I was really positively surprised when I received the package as the clothes really looked just like in the pictures! I love them.<3 The shipping took a while but it was definitely worth the wait!

So here's the looks:

Lavender

Dress : YOINS

I actually really love this off-shoulder dress. I mean, I love stripes, I love dresses, I love simplicity, so what's not to love about this? Admittedly, it's not really suitable for the season but as I'm planning on going to Australia in December anyways this is definitely a piece that is gonna have a place in my luggage case! It just seems so great for a casual day out in the sunny Melbourne! :)

You can shop the dress here!

The rings are YOINS, too!

Night Out In Lace

Two piece : YOINS | Clutch Bag : YOINS

If you'd ask me to pick a favourite, it would probably be this one.
I just love how this look is so elegant and.. kinda sexy but in a classy way (..you get me, right?).
It's just the perfect look for a night out! I actually wore this outfit last Friday night and received more compliments than ever so that really convinced me for good.

You can shop this look here!

What do you like to wear on a night out? :)

Coordinate: Marble Obsessions

Hat : Chanel | Blouse : Japan | Pants : River Island | Shoes : Lamoda | Bag : MK
This is a rather elegant and, surprise surprise, monochrome look, probably most suitable for some mild autumn afternoons in the city.
I kinda fell in love with these pants so I've basically tried to make the whole outfit evolve around them, although I feel like I kinda failed in that mission, I just love how the cut of those pants gives me some 'curves' - finally it looks like I actually have hips *yay*!
Also, I'm not sure if you've noticed but I started editing the backgrounds of my looks and I feel that, with each new look, my skills are slightly improving - it's still obvious that it's edited but I don't really actually mind that if I'm honest. I like the way this looks, it kind of reminds me of an editorial straight out of the Dazed-Magazine.

Overall, I'm actually quite satisfied with the outcome of this look, although I feel like I'm way overusing this Michael Kors bag.. I really like the Michael Kors Designs but the quality is really not that good compared to brands of a similar or slightly higher price category such as Kate Spade or Tory Burch, so I decided to not buy MK-products in the future but rather invest a little more into a better product.

On a personal level I'm finally getting the 'good vibes' and really started to get stuff done.
The probably most exciting news are: I have successfully managed to book a work & travel trip to Melbourne, Australia! I'm so looking forward it, although it will be later in December, I'm finally getting to see a part of the world I've never been to before and I'm in the firm believe that it is going to be awesome.. Just hoping it won't be too hot as it will be enough of a climate shock for me to get from winterly Europe to summerly Australia ahah.

Do you have any upcoming events that you are especially looking forward to?

FALL for me

Jumper : H&M Studio | Overalls : Japan | Shoes : Jeffrey Campbell

Here's my latest, autumn-inspired look featuring a gorgeous H&M Studio sweater and a denim overall. I was really positively surprised by this season's Studio collection of H&M, the quality of the fabrics and the edginess of some of the designs were so atypical compared to the usual H&M mainstream stuff. I definitely don't regret checking this collection out because I actually managed to find and buy what might become one of my favourite autumn/winter sweaters ever there! The warm colours, the oversized cut and the cozy wool material just makes this jumper so comfortable, no matter if you wear it as a pullover or directly on your skin. It keeps you warm while looking stylish, and honestly, what more could you ask for in a piece of clothing?

Ring : Antique-shop | Bag : Tory Burch

I'm actually still trying to figure out whether double buns suit me or not but I thought they'd definitely look cute with this look so 'why not?'
Anyways, sorry for the 'perfect sweater'-rave on here but you just gotta love this cozy jumper, I'm so happy I've found it! <3

How important is the perfect autumn sweater for you?

Coordinate: Monolove

Necklace : H&M | Dress : Zara
This is gonna be my last, belated, summer look for this season featuring gel hair and smokey eyes.
It's funny how you never realize how short your hair is until you gel it all back but I still wouldn't want it to be any longer, especially not for this look. I've been trying to personify my style a little more lately and decided that edgy & elegant was what I'm gonna go for, though, there might still be some looks that are gonna be exceptions to this in the future but let's not waste too much time planning for the future now, we live now, today and tomorrow is really just a mystical land that we humans store 99% of our productivity, motivation and achievement (credits to the quote I once read this in somewhere).

Btw. I'm so glad I still got the time to write and publish this post because I'm currently on the airport waiting for boarding to go back to the UK to finally join and experience the, probably most exciting time of our lives, university life!
And can I just confess that I like airports – Especially the time when you're waiting for boarding because it's so fun for me to just watch all the business people hectically type some last messages and send their last emails before the wi-fi-less-time on board of the plane and to witness all the conversations that are just being started because people finally find someone who speaks their language and it's so nice for me to just sit there and listen while they're exchanging those little stories about their lives.
The only thing I probably like even more than the time when you wait for boarding at an airport is the time right after check-in and security because you just sort of sit there and wait for your gate to open while all the people that are late for their own flights rush past you and in those moments it somehow feels like time stands still for me.

Anyways, back to topic. I really hope you like this look and I want you to know I'm so grateful to each one of you taking the time to even read my boring blog posts haha!<3

Do you use lookbook?

What style would you wanna be associated with?

Let me know in the comments below! :)
