Coordinate: Marble Obsessions

Hat : Chanel | Blouse : Japan | Pants : River Island | Shoes : Lamoda | Bag : MK
This is a rather elegant and, surprise surprise, monochrome look, probably most suitable for some mild autumn afternoons in the city.
I kinda fell in love with these pants so I've basically tried to make the whole outfit evolve around them, although I feel like I kinda failed in that mission, I just love how the cut of those pants gives me some 'curves' - finally it looks like I actually have hips *yay*!
Also, I'm not sure if you've noticed but I started editing the backgrounds of my looks and I feel that, with each new look, my skills are slightly improving - it's still obvious that it's edited but I don't really actually mind that if I'm honest. I like the way this looks, it kind of reminds me of an editorial straight out of the Dazed-Magazine.

Overall, I'm actually quite satisfied with the outcome of this look, although I feel like I'm way overusing this Michael Kors bag.. I really like the Michael Kors Designs but the quality is really not that good compared to brands of a similar or slightly higher price category such as Kate Spade or Tory Burch, so I decided to not buy MK-products in the future but rather invest a little more into a better product.

On a personal level I'm finally getting the 'good vibes' and really started to get stuff done.
The probably most exciting news are: I have successfully managed to book a work & travel trip to Melbourne, Australia! I'm so looking forward it, although it will be later in December, I'm finally getting to see a part of the world I've never been to before and I'm in the firm believe that it is going to be awesome.. Just hoping it won't be too hot as it will be enough of a climate shock for me to get from winterly Europe to summerly Australia ahah.

Do you have any upcoming events that you are especially looking forward to?

Necklace : H&M | Dress : Zara
This is gonna be my last, belated, summer look for this season featuring gel hair and smokey eyes.
It's funny how you never realize how short your hair is until you gel it all back but I still wouldn't want it to be any longer, especially not for this look. I've been trying to personify my style a little more lately and decided that edgy & elegant was what I'm gonna go for, though, there might still be some looks that are gonna be exceptions to this in the future but let's not waste too much time planning for the future now, we live now, today and tomorrow is really just a mystical land that we humans store 99% of our productivity, motivation and achievement (credits to the quote I once read this in somewhere).

Btw. I'm so glad I still got the time to write and publish this post because I'm currently on the airport waiting for boarding to go back to the UK to finally join and experience the, probably most exciting time of our lives, university life!
And can I just confess that I like airports – Especially the time when you're waiting for boarding because it's so fun for me to just watch all the business people hectically type some last messages and send their last emails before the wi-fi-less-time on board of the plane and to witness all the conversations that are just being started because people finally find someone who speaks their language and it's so nice for me to just sit there and listen while they're exchanging those little stories about their lives.
The only thing I probably like even more than the time when you wait for boarding at an airport is the time right after check-in and security because you just sort of sit there and wait for your gate to open while all the people that are late for their own flights rush past you and in those moments it somehow feels like time stands still for me.

Anyways, back to topic. I really hope you like this look and I want you to know I'm so grateful to each one of you taking the time to even read my boring blog posts haha!<3

Do you use lookbook?

What style would you wanna be associated with?

Let me know in the comments below! :)

Mono...chrome !

Top : Topshop | Pants : Zara | Shoes : H&M | Bag : Michael Kors

I'm so into monochromatic fashion lately hence the new look I have combined.
Black and white are definitely  the most dominant colors in my wardrobe, simply because they just give me the opportunity to combine them so easily, with other colors as well.
However I most of the time prefer black and white just being black and white.
That's why I combined these two colors now to a rather chique look, here it is; :)

I'm so glad I've found these striped pants at Zara during my last shopping trip!
I've been looking for a pair of wide leg pants for a more elegant, yet edgy look for ages.

Now this would be my perfect outfit to set a statement or attend a formal party.
My oncle is gonna celebrate his birthday with a garden party soon and since my family is all fancy when it comes to official events like this, an elegant and formal look is almost a must so I think this look will be perfect to attend the party. The light material of the pants also allows me to wear them in a hot climate and they're also super comfy! - Okay - I'm gonna stop there because these pants are just gonna keep me doting.

Do you like wearing wide leg - or flared pants in summer?

Minimalistic.

This is another outfit post on monochromatic fashion,
 which is my current favorite.
So here's the look:

To be honest I find it really easy to make outfits look fashionable
when the only colors used are black, white or greys.

For this look I've matched:

H&M oversized sweater
Zara Chiffon Culottes
Lamoda Platform Sandals

You see? my combination is really simple but it still has an effect.

And I fell so in love with the sweater ~

Hope you've enjoyed this post and the look ~ see you soon!
