Short Trips: London & Dublin

Over the past three weeks I've had a really nice time traveling again.
I feel strange lately because for some reason I enjoy being away from home a crazy lot, much more than I should. Anyways, lets skip the talking part for this post and lets come straight to the photos I took!

Here's my impressions of London:

The UK trip consisted mainly of tasty food, spending excessive amounts of money shopping and happy reunions with old friends, it was wonderful :)

I also went to Dublin shortly after but it wasn't that exciting because it was a trip which was mainly thought to be a family reunion for St. Patrick's Day.
Said St. Patrick's Day was spent at a family get-together at my grandfather's manor so unfortunately we didn't get to see the parade in Dublin but we had a really nice time nevertheless and I did eventually still have the time to visit Dublin plenty!

Have a selfie with my favourite cousin who paid for me way too many times during my time in Dublin because I really could've sworn I was broke after London but actually I wasn't lol, I love him though ~ the kind of person that has my back when I'm right and also when I'm wrong :)

And now? Now I'm back home again, not knowing what to do with my time until my next adventure/the start of university in autumn but I'm working on some new posts and also planning to actually find a part-time job somewhere and earn some own money to spend.
Hopefully that plan will work!

Have you ever been to London or Dublin?
They are two of my favourite cities personally, but how did you like them and which places did you like best?

Little update

As the 14th of February was approaching I felt more and more like jumping from our balcony on the 29th floor. I just didn't feel like turning 20 yet, just wanted one more year of being a "teenager".
There's just something so scary about growing older and fully becoming an "adult" to me..
And then there was the dreadful thought of probably having to spend my birthday alone because my friends left to a farm and my housemates all seemed busy.

It turned out those worries were completely unnecessary and more importantly, it turned out that I still have some pretty awesome friends here in Melbourne.

Thanks to these guys I actually had so much fun on my birthday!
(please ignore me looking like crap lol)

And now?
Now I'm back home, in freezing Europe, and all that stays are the memories and the hope to eventually meet some of the people I've met during my travels down under again someday.
We've had a great time and there's absolutely nothing I regret about this little adventure.

But there's no time to look back all too much as there's so much that needs to be done & prepared for the future. In fact, I'm on the airport waiting for my flight to Ireland right now. The past couple of days seemed extremely busy, I welcome it because I detest boredom with a passion but at the extend that it is at the moment, it's almost annoying. But I guess I'm just gonna go with the flow and see where it takes me, it's gonna be exciting for sure!

P.S. I really wanna apologise for the long breaks between my posts lately, I'll try to post more regularly from now on again.

Jupiter's Wishlist

Jupiter's Wishlist

Here's a current wishlist of my personal must-haves of the season AW15 (but really just anytime)! I'm a little busy with my university applications, social life and getting everything ready for Australia at the moment so there's not too much time for me to actually post a lot but I don't think there has to be much said to the fabulousness of those items on my wishlist!
The things on this list that I want the most are probably that stylish coat, the Ferragni slippers and the Chanel No5, which I'm in love with since I'm 5 – which was when I first discovered it in my mom's room. I have already got those gorgeous Topshop block heels and as I already have a DW watch, I'll only have to switch the wristband to get the look, so although I'm realistically not gonna be able to get myself literally all of these items, I think I'm on a good way and willing to try my best to get at least those 3! :D
"You have to dream before your dreams can come true.", right?
Which of those items do you like best and what fashion items do you crave the most at the moment?
Also, how do you like this collage?
(*Let me know if you want to see more of those in the future)

I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

Love x Hate tag

After having been tagged for this thing twice by Linnie from http://linxnee.blogspot.com & Lauren from laurlauu.blogspot.co.uk (thank you very much btw!<3), I thought it was finally time to upload a post to this – I'm very sorry I kept you waiting for so long.
But here we go!

Let's start with the things I hate/dislike:
  • Arguments, they're just so horribly nerve-wrecking
  • Know-it-alls and arrogant people, because their attitude...
  • Salty snacks, I don't know why, I just don't like them ^^;
  • Cats, most cats I've encountered have always been kind of evil
  • Kitschy movies like Titanic.. Yup, I'm probably one of the few girls that didn't fall for DiCaprio..
  • Spiders because spiders..
  • Jealousy & envy because that's just not cool and honestly, I think it says more about you then the person you envy or hate on for some reason..
  • Homophobic, sexist & racist people. because intolerance is such a no-go!
  • Meat – I just don't like the taste & I'm a veggie, currently even vegan!
  • Deep water since I'm just terribly afraid of water as soon as it get's so deep I cannot see what's beneath me anymore.

Now to the more happy things of life, the things I love:
  • My dog because she's the best & I promise she wouldn't bite you :)
  • Books, especially ones that can take you into an entirely different world like novels of the fantasy genre, I do like educational books sometimes, too though!
  • Horror/thriller movies simply because I like to get scared as long as I know it's not real ^^;
  • Philosophy – you can debate anything and everything with me!
  • Astrophysics, that has been my interest since I was a kid, it's so fascinating, you can't even imagine all the things out there!
  • Chocolate, yum <3
  • Japanese food! I love sushi, dorayaki, osaka ramen, curry, onigiri, teriyaki soba, …
  • Art – I love doing it myself but I love being inspired by it just as much!
  • Meeting new people, I love (most) people!
  • Traveling.. there's probably nothing I love more! Wanderlust.:)
Yes, my dog might look like a seal but you just gotta love her! :3
I hope this wasn't too boring and helped you to get a better insight into my life and me as a person.
I don't even know if I can still nominate people to do this because I'm so late with it but I'm gonna do it anyways, I nominate:
Angelina from http://www.angelina-is.blogspot.com/
Lauren from http://www.adornlafemme.com/
& Amy from http://littlemoondragon.blogspot.ca/

What are some things you love or hate?

A big, big sorry

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to tell you all I'm very sorry since I haven't been very active on here lately.
The reason is I'm stuck in hospital at the moment because after having caught a splinter from a cactus (yes, a cactus) I developed a slight blood poisoning, so now here I am getting treated with Antibiotics and looking out of my hospital window with jealousy at all the other people who can properly enjoy these hot days. But please don't worry, I'm fine since it has been noticed very early because I actually had to go to the hospital to get the splinter removed. I think it's the perfect example that not all "plants are friends" hahaha. So after having spent some time in intensive care thinking about how satisfying it would be to get revenge throwing that cactus into the fire on the next BBQ I can now finally use my macbook and phone permanently again - Yay!
And the good thing is I've had a lot of time to think of things to blog about so I will upload a proper new post very soon :)

Look at all this bandage just for a little splinter..
The good thing is, the antibiotics are working very well on me so I have good chances to be out of here in a few days (hopefully)!

I hope you didn't have any unfortunate incidents like this one recently and your summer is going fine?

xx ♡ Micky
